Adrain “Punkin” Turner, a beacon of joy and laughter, left this world on June 6, 2026, at BrightMoore Hospice in Macon, Georgia. Born on February 13, 1969, in Reynolds, Georgia, Adrain’s life was a vivid tapestry of love, resilience, and the purest spirit of family.
From the beginning, Adrain embraced life with a fullness that inspired all who knew him. Despite living with special needs, he faced each day with a heart unburdened by limitation, overflowing instead with love and warmth that touched every room he entered. His laughter was contagious, his joy uncontained, and his love for family immeasurable. These qualities defined him, making every moment shared with him unforgettable.
Educated at the Middle Flint Human Resource Center in Butler, Georgia, Adrain found his passions early. Music was a particular delight, a favorite pastime that brought light and rhythm to his days. His love extended to cherished television shows such as Good Times, In the Heat of the Night, and Martin—programs that sparked his intrigue and laughter, creating simple yet profound pleasures in his life.
Adrain was family to the core. Though his beloved mother, Betty Towns Turner, and father, James “SketterPop” Turner, along with his brother Shedrick Turner and his aunt Ola Mae Turner, who had lovingly cared for him until her passing, have gone before him, their spirits live on in the love he carried every day. His grandparents Cornelius “Buddy” & Mamie Lee Towns, and Otis & Katie Lee Turner, Sr., also preceded him in death, resting now alongside their cherished grandson.
He is survived by devoted siblings—sisters Shantell Turner and Nicole Turner, brothers Carlton Turner and stepbrother Lance Harvi—and loving aunts Janice Towns, Joyce Miller, Lelia Dugger, Jeanette Hillson, Debra McKenzie, Rose Turner, as well as Uncle Otis “Bubba” Turner. Among those closest to Adrain was his devoted caregiver and cousin, Jaquese Towns, whose care and companionship meant the world to him.
Adrain’s final arrangements will begin with a viewing at the House of Towns Mortuary, located at 21 Racetrack Road, Reynolds, GA, on June 12, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., followed by a special visitation with family from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The community and loved ones will gather to celebrate his earthly journey and honor the profound imprint he left on their hearts. The following day, June 13, 2026, a graveside service will be held at Macedonia Baptist Church & Cemetery, 000 Pebble Road, Reynolds, GA, beginning at noon.
Adrain “Punkin” Turner’s life was a testament to the power of unconditional love, boundless joy, and an unwavering spirit. Though he has passed from this earth, his laughter echoes in every cherished memory, his love remains a lasting light, and his spirit continues to inspire all who were blessed to know him. He will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and eternally loved.
