Roberta, Georgia
Mr. Bennie Willis Jr. was born on September 3, 1956, in Roberta, Georgia, to the late Mr.
Bennie Willis Sr: and Mrs. Louise Willis. He was raised in Crawford County, Georgia, where he attended the public school system.
Bennie dedicated many years of his life to working in the manufacturing industry. Outside of work, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and exploring the beauty of nature and wildlife. These activities brought him great joy and allowed him to appreciate the simple pleasures of life.
Bennie was a loving and devoted father; son, brother, and grandfather. Family meant everything to him, and he had a special gift for bringing laughter wherever he went. Whether sharing one of his hilarious jokes or telling a memorable story,
Bennie knew how to brighten someone's day. His humor, warm spirit, and love for his family made him a special person to everyone who knew him.
On November 4, 2026, Bennie peacefully entered into eternal rest at his residence, with his caregiver and dear friend, Ms. Harvette Roberts, by his bedside. Although his physical presence will be
deeply missed, the memories he created and the love he shared will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his loving father, Mr. Bennie Willis Sr., and his devoted sister, Ms. Doretha Willis.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his devoted mother, Mrs. Louise Willis of Ro-berta, Georgia; three sons, Bennie Willis Jr. III, Shavis (Portia) Smith of Macon, Georgia, and Jeremy (Shakira) Willis of Fairburn, Georgia; one daughter, Crishanda Lamar of Tho-maston, Georgia; and fourteen beloved grandchildren.
He also leaves two brothers, Ronnie (Mary) Howard and Melvin Willis, both of Roberta, Georgia; and five sisters, Cora Lee Wyche and Jacqueline (Matthew) Smith, both of Macon, Georgia; Nita (Larry) Brice, Mary Ann Willis, and Wanda Willis, all of Roberta, Georgia.
Additionally, he leaves two devoted friends, Ms. Harvette Roberts and Mr. Kordell Louther of Macon, Georgia, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Bennie's life was filled with family, laughter, hard work, and cherished memories. Though he has departed from this earthly life, his jokes will still bring smiles, his stories will continue to be shared, and his love wil live on through the generations of family he leaves behind.
He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
