Fannie Ruth Howell Montgomery was born in Butler, Georgia to the parents Colonel Howell and olivet Riley Howell.
She grew up and attended the public schools of Taylor County. At a very early age she join the Antioch Baptist Church in Butler Georgia. She loved her church and enjoyed being in the fellowship with the baptized believers who worship there. As she matriculated in life she work many different jobs. She began her working career with Martha Mills in Thomaston years ago and she worked until retirement.
Fannie could easily be found doing her favorite pastime watching the daily soap operas her favorite two were the bold and beautiful and General Hospital she would have loads of fun laughing at each episode. When she was not engaged in watching her favorite shows on TV she was engaged in listening to her favorite music.
Fannie had several siblings to proceed her in death she kept each of their memory alive in her heart. She was also preceded in death by one of her loving daughters Dorothine Gray.
The bold and radiant light of our beloved Fannie will live on through her family who will cherish her memory for many years to come. She is Survivor by a lovely daughter Glenda Stephens Thomaston Georgia, a brother Deacon George Howell Butler, Georgia, five grandchildren and great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who miss her dearly.
