Gregory Goodroe

Gregory Goodroe, born on October 12, 1975, in Butler, Georgia, has passed away on April 11, 2024, in Piedmont - Macon, Macon, Ga. He is survived by his mother Annette Goodroe, children Deontay J. McCrary, of Butler, Ga. Rashad R. Wonnum, Raheem R. Wonnum, India R. Wonnum all of Byron, GA, and grandchildren Cordell Allen, Iyllani Wonnum. He is also survived by his sister April Goodroe (Kelesy Raines) of Butler, GA, nieces Ziquasha Goodroe and Shabba Goodroe both of Perry, GA, aunts Geraldine Goodroe of Maryland and Katherine Searcy of Butler, GA, and uncle Willie Gene Goodroe of Milledgeville, GA.

In his journey of life and love for his family and friends, Gregory was accompanied by his close friends Tony Stinson, Morial Stinson, John Daniely, Quincy Sanders. He was also predeceased by Challie Goodroe, John Westly Goodroe, and Katie B. Hawk.

A "Celebration of Life" service will be held on April 20th at House of Towns Mortuary in Reynolds, GA. The service will begin at 11:00 AM to honor the memory and cherish the moments shared with Gregory.

Throughout his life and the impact he had on those around him will always be remembered by his surviving family members and friends mentioned above along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends who were touched by his warmth and kindness.

May Gregory Goodroe rest in peace as his spirit continues to live on in the hearts of those who knew him well.
