The life of James Little began in Reynolds, Ga. with Burdia Turner Little and Nelson Little, Sr. James grew up and attended the public schools of Taylor county. He attended church with his family at Mt Gillard Baptist Church where James would later join and become a devoted Usher to the Usher’s Board.
In later years James followed his adventurous spirit and set his sail for New York City where he lived, worked, and built a life.
James was know for his spirit of laughter and fun. James loved his music and would often enjoy dancing. He also loved to cook and was quite the snazzy dresser and could put on his clothes very well. James had a style of his own.
James experienced ups and downs n his life but he never let it get him down. Towards the end of James life the trails of life and aged moved in and hill became harder to climb. James climb that last hill and fought that battle all must fight “Old Man death” James won that battle when God gentle closed those eyes.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Louise (Willie B) Hicks, Lewis Little, John Lee (lsabell) Little, Raymond Little, Leon “Moon” Little, Nettie Lee (Sylvester) Lockhart, Quinzella “Pig” Little Mike Arthur Davis
James levels to cherish life: A devoted and caring brother Frank Little (Betty Willis) reared like a sister Betty (Jessie) Gibson. A very devoted nephew Nelson Little, Sister-in-law Gracie Little, Bernice Little, a host nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
