Joshua Da'mon Woodard, born January 4th 2006 went home to be with the Lord on September 13th 2025. He was 19 years old. Joshua lived his life with faith, passion, and joy that touched everyone who knew him.
He was a proud graduate of Perry High School Where he excelled both academically and athletically. He ran track for his school and with AAU intensity.
His speed on the track field was matched only by the strength of his faith and his unwavering dedication to serving God.
Joshua was gifted with a voice of an Angel That he used as he sang in multiple choirs at church and at school. He filled much of his time and space with music that litted the hearts of people and gave glory to God. He was a devoted member of mount Gillard Baptist Church and Temple of Miracles Worship Center: He used his spiritual talents and his glorious voice to uplift the name of Jesus and to edify the saints in both places.
Joshua also expressed his creativity through dance, performing as a proud member of the KST. Joshua's anointing could be clearly seen as his passion, energy and artistry shined as brightly as his music when he danced. He carried his love for arts into his studies as a sophomore at Fort valley State University where he Pursued Visual and Performing Arts With the same commitment and creativity that he brought to every part of his life.
Joshua light shone brightly in his short years through his devotion, his talents, his kindness, and his ability to inspire those around him. Though this time was far too brief, his impact will live on in the countless lives that he touched.
