Kelvin McClendon

Kelvin McClendon was born on July 31, 1967 to the parents of Susie Riley McClendon & Curtis McClendon. Kelvin grew up and attended the public schools of Taylor County. He played football & other sports. He graduated with the class of 1986. Kevin pursued a career in transport by gaining his CDL special license and driving for various transportation companies. Kevin loved to drive it was one of his most passionate things to do. Kelvin enjoyed quiet moments watching favorite movies and family time. Kelvin wonderful memory will be carried on by his loving family. Wife Carrie Chambless, Mother Susie McClendon, children Keltevious McClendon, Kelveisha (Samuel) Sparks,  Derris Chambless, Brothers Alex Riley, Kenneth Johnson, 8 Grandchildren  a loving Mother-in-law Thomasins Smalls, Uncles & Aunts John (Dorothy) McClendon, Betty Bailey, Almarie Rogers, Morris McClendon, Marjiore Rush. Brother-in-laws David Chambless, Wilbert Smalls, Jr. Best friends Donnie Bunkley, John Thomas Whiters, a host of cousins, other relarelatives and friends who will miss him dearly. A memorial service will be held on Sunday December 31, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Second Tazwell Baptist Church located on Church Street in Butler, Georgia . Burial will be private .
