Life began for Mary Helen Cross March 3 1944 in Ellaville Georgia with the late Bertha Mae Kirtsey and the late John Dewey kirtsey as her parents. She grew up an attended the public schools of Schely county.,
Mary was an industrious woman who was focused on any task that was at hand. She was a hard worker and a builder of a life.
Mary live life as any other human being by finding joys in the simple things of life. In her past-time you would find her doing jigsaw puzzles along with word puzzles were sure to engage her time. Her comfort food was always a juicy hamburger finished off with a strawberry milkshake, blue what’s her favorite color and it often inspired and represent her personality, When engaged in television, the Beverly hillbillies was sure to give her a laugh. Her game shows was never too far behind and as all the country folks will find a little simple joy, and maybe lounging around sitting on the porch a box of CC Snuff would be close by. To sum it all up, let’s just say our Mary Cross loved and enjoyed life.
She was proceeded in death by her Parents, brother Curtis Kirtsey, LJ Kirtsey, Kenneth Kirtsey, Charlie Kirtsey, Leroy Jones, Clarice Jones.
As it is said each life must have some rainfall. Marie definitely had rain in her life but she never let it hindered who she was. This a beautiful radiance. Enter into the rims of rest on December 31, 2025, surrounded by family who loved her dear.
Her beautiful and radiant life is left to be cherished for years to come. By her daughters Alma Marie Cross, Americus, Ga. Teresa Mae Cross, Augusta, Ga. Sue Helen (Richard) DeMaso, Mauk, Ga. Sister-in- law Trudy Kirtsey Butler, Ga. Grandchildren: J. J. Moulton, Kaleigh Moulton, Riley DeMaso, Leland DeMaso, Chris Morris, Eva, Morris, one Great- Grandchild Malloy Jones Petty and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
