The life of JoAnn Felder Waters-Taylor was born in Bryronville, Georgia to the parents Of the late Lucius Felder and the late Lucie Mae Toomer Felder.
JoAnn grew up and attended the public schools Of Dooly County. She later continued her studies in the greater Atlanta area by graduating from the Washington High Schools. She advanced her studies by following her passion to care for others an inner instinct passed to her by her family who taught her to live by the golden rule she studied the arts of health care by be coming a Registered Nurse, by earning a degree in Nursing Sciences. This career path would span over five decades in a field that was near and dear to her heart. 53 years of dedicated and committed service to various hospitals. She ended this life long career with Peach County Navicent Hospital in Bryon, Georgia.
JoAnn was a woman of many talents and interest. In her formatives years she was very athletic and enjoyed the sport of tennis and played it very well. She loved family time and friends. At times she would engage in playing bowling ball as a time to have fun and enjoy those who shared those similar interest. JoAnnn loved life and lived it with all her might. She worked, played, traveled, and lived her best life. The world owed JoAnn Nothing, because she used the time God gave her wisely
JoAnn was a certified Realtor and was no stranger to hard work. As life continued to unfold for JoAnn she heeded to the voice of God as she was called and chosen to go into the hedges and byways to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to those who would hear and accept the word of God as good news. She was a licensed and ordained Minister of the Gospel and enjoyed preaching with great fever. She lived out her faith by connecting with the band of blood washed Beleivers at Jehovah Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Canndy as Sr. Pastor.
JoAnn being a minister knew the scripture taught her that all Christian must endure hardness as a good solider of Jesus Christ. Though JoAnn had her share of ups and downs and hard times she never let that sway her from her faith and belief in her God. She fought her last battle with grace and strength knowing Jesus would be waiting at the end of the battle to say “Setvant of God well done, sit down and rest a little while” she heard her master say come on my child on Wednesday November 19, 2025 at Atrium Health Medical Center in Macon, Georgia surrounded by those who loved her with an everlasting
