Robert Howell, known to his loved ones as "RH," has left a void in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. On November 22, 2023, Taylor County Health & Rehab Butler, Georgia became the site of our collective grief as we said goodbye to a remarkable man.
Born on March 25, 1951, Robert's journey was destined to be one filled with purpose and dedication. Growing up in Taylor County, he attended the public schools there and developed a strong foundation for his future endeavors. After completing his education, he found his passion working as a logger Tech for a logging company. His commitment to this role was unwavering, and every day he approached his work with enthusiasm and skill.
Robert's jovial personality and zest for life made him an irresistible presence in any room he entered. He had a contagious laughter that would brighten even the darkest days. He cherished spending time with his favorite people, always finding joy in their company. It was through these connections that he truly thrived and created lasting memories.
Beyond his career and relationships, Robert nurtured a love for gardening. Watching vegetables sprout from the earth brought him immense delight; it was evident that seeing his garden thrive brought him great pride. This hobby exemplified both his nurturing spirit and ability to find beauty in simple joys.
Robert leaves behind a legacy built on love and cherished memories. While we mourn his absence, we also celebrate his impact on those around him. He is survived by many dear family members who will forever cherish their moments with him. Children: Maurice Troutman, Robert Howell, Loven Hale, Lavonchia Prioleau, Latrina Caldwell, Raina Boyd, Colette Boyd, Blair Talib- Boyd. Mother Mamie Lou Howell; brothers Larry Joe Howell, Johnny Lee Howell, Lanford Howell, Raymond Howell, Warren Christopher Howell; sisters Catherine Howell, Mamie Florence (Tommy) Sanders, Mildred Barfield, Mary Ann Howell, Sarah Nell Taylor, Rhonda (Donnie) Bunkley, Shonda (Joseph) Walker, and Freda (Cornelius)Coleman along with 24 grandcgrandchildren and 1 great grandchild, all will hold his memory in their hearts. He was predeceased by his wife Linda Faye Barfield Howell and his father Emanuel Howell
