Toni Lee Gormon

Fort Valley, Georgia

Toni Lee Gormon was born in Buena Vista, Georgia to the parents of Robert Gormon and Ole Mae Smalls. He grew up and attended the public schools of Marion County he was a graduate of Tri-County High School 1984.  Upon his finishing high school he fathered his studies. He later enlisted in the US Army he served his remaining years in the Army Reserve. As a career path he entered the trucking Industry. He was a dedicated Truck Driver for Evergreen Industries. His coworkers and mangers all praised Toni for his loyalty and how he represented the company well. He was baptized at First Baptist Church of Junction City, Ga.

Toni was known for his love of football. His favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys and the Georgia Bulldogs. His favorite pass time was watching Wrestling, eating and laughter. 

Toni closed the curtain on this life on June 4, 2024 the day after his amazing birthday, while doing what he loved most working. May God rest those weary hands from all his earthly labor.

He was predeceased by Parents: Robert Gormon, Ola Mae Smalls, Brother: Robert Earl Gormon, Uncles & Aunts: O.L. Gormon, Dorothy Jean Gormon, Annie Gormon, Erma Jean Wright, Mary Francis Searcy, Jimmy Gormon, Ollie Gormon, Mary Bell, Charlie Smalls, Milton Smalls, Willie Pittman, Mary Helen Lee, Fannie Nell Williams

His is survived by those who will keep his memory Alive. His daughter Christina Gabriel his loving companion Aleathea Searcy, his beloved shitzu “Smokey” the son he never had, his brother: Gilbert (Marilyn) Smalls, Godparents: Edith Ann (David) Kelly, Aunt: Jeanette Sales, Uncle: Willie Gormon God-siblings: April (Stewart) Mathis, David (Dominique) Kelly, Jr. DeShawn (Katrina) Kelly, Children he regarded as his own Quartavious Searcy, Janecia Kelly, Ja’Cori Searcy, Sha’Bria Searcy, devoted cousins Christopher(Wendy) Smalls, Clifford Searcy, 6 Grandchildren a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
