Waltavious Deshon Hicks

Waltavious Deshon Hicks was affectionately known as “Big Walt” was born February 10, 1997 to the parents of Danyelle Daniel and Walter Hicks II He attended public schools of Jacksonville Florida and an early age he devoted he life Jesus Christ by joining the Rocky Mount Baptist Church. He did security at Tipsy’s where he was loved by many. He was a loving gentle giant, who was family oriented. He loved fishing and wearing his “crazy socks”. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Johnnie Mae Daniel and Willie Daniel II, Paternal grandparents, Mary Francis Hicks and Walter Hicks, Maternal great grandmother Kate Mae Talton, and paternal great grandmother Betty Little. On Saturday July 19, 2025 God called him from his earthly labor. 

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Danyelle Daniel, father Walter Hicks, II, children Aune’ Monts, Tyrnir and Amirion Tillman, Sisters Kearrow, Shaylesia Diane, Brothers Jadarrius Hicks, Theren Whitaker, Nieces and nephews Mason, Kennedy, Kingsley, Landon, London, and Nekai,  Aunts Rose Daniel, Nekita (Garret) Clarke, and Elizabeth (Willie) McDonald, Uncles Willie Daniel III. (Yolonda), Charlie (Sharon) Ross, Isley Towr,  Justin Hicks, Octavious (Sybil) Talton, Chalance Talton, Cedric Talton, Freddie Ross, Great Uncles Felton (Easter) Talton, L. J. (Ann) Talton, Edward Talton, Curtis (Jackie) Hicks, Ricky ( Julie) Hicks. And Melvin (Kima) Hicks, Great Aunts Dorothy Mae Talton and Letty Little, Louise Gibson, Karen Talton, Flozella Talton, Great Grandmother Agnes Hicks, Compainion Sabrina Tillman, Godchildren, Kyrek and Arminian Monts, Cousins Darius, Keosha, Tarkell, Madison, Devonta, Joseph, Devoted Friends Deon Frazier, Nigel Perry, Khamel Raikes, Durrell Hall, Charles Thomas, Mario Atwaters Anthony White, Ethan Byers, MSP Boys, Tipsys Clan and a host of other relatives.
