Evangelist Mary Ross

Evangelist Mary Alice Joiner Ross was born December 22, 1959 in Taylor County, GA. To the parentage of the late J.D. Joiner and Mammie Ruth Davidson Joiner and Prentice Holder. At age of 60, God, called Mary Alice Joiner Ross to her eternal resting place on April 3, 2020 at the Houston Medical Center of Warner Robins, Georgia.

She attended the Public-School System of Taylor County. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church of Butler, Ga. Where she also served as Assistant Pastor.  In her earlier years she moved to Atlanta and worked at Ego's and the Georgia World Congress Center of Atlanta, Ga. She moved backed to Butler and found the love of her life Willie Ross Jr (BKA Bro) and later started her journey as an Evangelist and worked in the Private Healthcare Field. She was a humanitarian, a pillar in her community, and was loved by all who knew her.

She also traveled to different churches and to the jails to sing, preach, and praise God. She held benefit programs for the sick in the community and she also loved her family dearly. There was no limit to her faith in God. She lived and expressed her faith about the God she served, always telling others and most of all her family how God change her life and he would do the same for them if they accepted him. Words can’t express how much she will be missed; she is gone but will never be forgotten.

On February 5, 1993 she united in Holy Matrimony to Willie Ross Jr where they shared 27 years together. He cherished her, they change each other lives for the better, he knew how much to love her ministry he always made sure she had the means to fulfill her God given assignment what she loved.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her husband Willie Ross Jr, along with her three stepchildren Harwood Wiggins, James Wiggins and Delois (Andre) Simmons and six grandchildren, all of Oglethorpe, GA.

Six sisters Mrs. Gwendolyn Hart of Atlanta, Georgia, Mrs. Tonnie G. Walker, Mrs. Arbie D. McCrary, Ms. Towania  Joiner, Christine(Fred) Thomas, Annette (Wayne) Ogburn all of Butler, Georgia.

Three Brothers Mr. Cepheus (Katie Nell) Montfort of Warner Robins, Georgia, Mr. Dolphus (Mary) Joiner, James (Adrianne) Holder all of Butler, Georgia.  Two sisters in laws Earnestine Gardner of Atlanta, Ga & Geraldine Ross of Gardens, Miami FLA.

And a host of nieces and nephews, Special friends Evangelist Tracey Rogers, Barbara Jean Riley and Ruby Walker.
