Mrs. Ora Billings

She is the daughter of the late Sanford Mathis & Annie Mar Manuel Mathis. She grew up & attended the public Schools of Taylor County. She grew up in Whote Hill Baptist Church with her family. As a young woman she made Atlanta her home, where she joined the Marta team as a bus driver In the Atlanta public transportation system until retirement. She was married to the late George Billings. A devoted Christian woman who continued her faith as an adult in the Seventh Day Adventist denomination. She spend pass time doing her favorite hobby of sewing, fishing, gardening and listening her gospel music. She entered into rest following a brief illness on July 23, 2020 while receiving care at Piedmont Newton in Covington, Georgia. She is survived by her 5 sons who were the beat of her heart, Marty Carson Conley, Ga., Charles Carson Covington Ga., Calvin Billings Atlanta Ga.
